Greetings to all,

is an image of Linux that's adapted to 86duino Zero available somewhere for download?

Some time ago, I have managed to install image that was available here on forum. However, that image didn't have swap enabled and all my attempts to recompile kernel with swap support and replacing it on SD card failed miserably.

I require some amount of swap since I have a compiler that requires at least 128MB of RAM, otherwise, it fails with "Seg fault". Thus, Linux kernel with swap support would be the only solution, as Zero has only 128 MB of RAM available.

Is there such option? Did anyone succeed in enabling swap support on kernel and run it on 86duino?

Any help is appreciated!

Best regards,

Bruno

Hi, bbanelli
We recently prepare the linux image for 86Duino, that is based on Lubuntu and it will be released soon.
You will compile the programs using GCC 4.8 on Lubuntu after restoring.
We soon post this news on Forum and release the image file and restoring tutorial on 86Duino web.

Greetings Android_Lin,

I hope swap will be enabled in kernel, unlike on current Linux image!

Thank you for the update, looking forward seeing it anytime soon!

With my best,

Bruno
